Theo & Tonya's Favorite Dog Treats, Toys, Dog Training Books and Dog Training Tools are here!

I am often asked which toys, treats & dog training tools I personally use & recommend to clients.  Here you will find mine & my dog Theo's favorite things!  Of course anything sold at Perky Paws Cafe comes with my personal recommendation, or I would not sell or design it.

Bottle TrackerBottle Tracker-One of Theo's favorite toys during thunderstorms!  We use this "special" toy when a storm is near to keep Theo focused on the toy, and not the storm.  I have an empty water bottle inside the bottle tracker, and Theo crunches the toy.

Rita Dog ToyRita Dog Toy-On those special days when we go get ice cream, I fill the center core up with Theo's favorite flavor!  He happily licks out the ice cream.  We also fill & freeze with his canned dog food & use those times when he is in his kennel.

Orbee Ball-Md   Woof Ball The Orbee Ball-Md and Woof Ball are two of Theo's favorite treat dispensing toys!  I hardly ever feed Theo out of his dog bowl.  Instead, I give him a bit of an outlet & let him work for his food.  First, we work on our Down/Stay (him in another room), then I place pieces of his food around the house & fill treat balls with the remainder of his kibble & hide them.  I then tell him "find it" and off he goes.....and loves it!  These balls also have a great bounce!

Atomic Treatball-Large Atomic Treatball-Large-Again, I place Theo's kibble inside his Atomic Treatball, and off he goes!  It easily can hold 2 cups of dog food, no problem.  :)

Kong-XLargeKong-XLarge & Kong-Large A must have for any dog!  Kongs are by far the product I always recommend to all my dog training clients.  Durable, stuffable & dishwasher safe, these toys are extremely versatile.  A great interactive toy that can be stuffed with all kinds of things: cheese, kibble, treats, peanut butter, cream cheese, and the list is endless.

Large Fleece Dog Ball Large Fleece Dog Ball By far this is one of Theo's favorite plush toys.  We lovingly refer to this toy as his "pooky ball".  He carries this large fleece ball around all the time.  When someone comes home, Theo rushes to his toy box to find a plush toy to greet the visitor with, this is one of his top contenders!
Rabbit Fur Dog Toy-Motivational  Rabbit Fur Dog Toy-Motivational When it comes to motivating Theo in difficult situations, this is what I bring to the table.  Theo's favorite item (out ranks food for him), is this rabbit fur squeaker dog toy that I created.  He only gets it when we are working, it's not in his toy box (that's why it stays motivating).

Squeaker Tennis Ball Squeaker Tennis Ball When it comes to tennis balls, Theo missed the chapter that he was suppose to love them!  However, he loves these tennis ball looking squeaker dog toys!  They are a perfect size to take on the road when we go on field trips.

Orbee-Tuff TUGOrbee-Tuff TUG Release the primal urge with TUG™. This is one tough tug!  Check out Parker (deaf boxer) playing with his Orbee Tug.

Beef Bone Beef Bone  Another must have for dogs!  The desire to chew stays with your dog throughout his life.  Having the appropriate chew bones are essential to a satisfied dog.  These beef bones are tough & about 6" long.  They come filled with the natural marrow.  After your dog cleans it out the bones are hollow and stuffable (cheese, peanut butter etc).

Antlerz-Jumbo Antlerz-Jumbo There must be something about the texture of these antlerz that entices dogs to chew on them.  Theo has been working on his antler for quite sometime now & it's still chewable.  However, because of the smaller size of the chew & the larger size of my dog, I do not leave unsupervised for safety reasons.

Munchy Rawhides Munchy Rawhides or what I say as "kennel treats" are chews that I use when Theo spends time in his kennel.  They are edible & Theo finds them quite tasty, for an extra special treat.

or Lamb Jerky Dog Treats These dog treats are made with 95% real meat!  They pack a big punch & are perfect for dog training.

Salmon Dog Treats Salmon Dog Treats Theo loves his fish!  These bite sized (golden) treats are extra crunchy & take a second or two to eat, allowing Theo to enjoy the taste.  I use these treats inside his Kongs, or as "find it" treats that are placed around the house.

Dog Bon Bons Dog Bon Bons  Theo loves his doggie bon-bons!  These are extra, extra special treats for him.  He only gets them a few times a month, one at time.  But boy, you should see the drool when he sees that I'm about to give him one!

Dog Treat Pouch-Red Dog Treat Pouch-Red  We simply don't leave home without it!  When Theo and I are out, he's always learning.  We work on our behavior, proof basic & advanced training, and play train.  This handy treat pouch is durable, keeps our favorite treats, toys, clicker & poop bags.

Gentle Leader Head Collar  Gentle Leader Head Collar-Theo started his leash training on a Gentle Leader Head Collar.  It is a wonderful tool to teach leash manners without causing any pain to your dog or your hands!  Now, at age 8 we are off the collar for our regular walks.  However, when we go into difficult (more distracting etc) situations, such as the vet, we do wear it for more control.

Dog Training -ClikRDog Training -ClikR-When I'm teaching Theo a new behavior or trick, out comes the Clik-R!  This soft click marks the correct response, then the treat follows.  Just seeing this tool puts Theo in the mindset to try new things.  It's a real trip to watch.
